I bought this book along with others from this author as they where free and would give a quick peek at how this author writes. So far not many of this authors books has not disappointed me!Now, this author starts this story a tad slow but then more then makes up for it with lots of twists turns and with the lead lady making a few dumb mistakes only cause she is bored out of her mind. Which over all gives a new take on the Cinderella story but lots more bloody and gives werewolves in a cult a bad name. But then has one shinning star who in a weird twisted way has a knight in shinning armor who saves the girl by biting her.
She has no where to turn and the one person she thinks is going to and has helped her is actually working for the one who bite her. But this story is very well written, has a few minor mistakes... but not enough to distract from the story!

Ridiculously short. Just a short chapter released as a first installment. This was free but the rest of the book must be bought chapter by chapter. What is it with this trend if releasing books like this ?
I HATE books that are not a standalone! Unfortunately, it was my bad for not paying attention. Unhappy this time around
This book reads like a short story that has been filled in to complete more pages. The writing and grammar are okay but the main character sounds very young and immature.She is supposed to be a woman in her 20's but she comes across as a high school student. This is not a story I would recommend to anyone over the age of 19.
I liked the read. It was too short. I know there is a #2 but I have to wait to get it. It was surprisingly good It just got interesting when it stopped . I would have liked it to have a complete story.
What was this, all of 15 or so pages? This wasn't a book but a teaser to a book, an intro if you will. I'm glad it was free cause I'd be mad if I had to pay money for this short story.
I think my opinion will always be tainted by the fact that these books are just an excuse to get you to pay more for a book. It's a better deal to get 1 quality book for 7.99 than pay for 4 or 5, 70-page books at 2.99 each.
That being said, this one started out OK. The main characters name slight changes after the first time(assuming author error) and she is kind of an idiot. Who leaves a bar with a male stranger who gives you the creeps? Super short teaser.
Danica is bored with her life. After work she goes to a bar and meets a stranger that wants to take her to a party. She goes with him and she finds that she's the dinner. She escapes but not before a werewolf bites her. She runs home to safety. She goes to work the following morning and finds out that the murders of the people she was with on stage last night is in the news. She stops at the police precinct and wants to tell what happened to the people that got murdered and her. She finds out the policeman she's with is one of them and they want her dead. She kicks him in the balls and gets away. She returns home and someone knocks on her door. It's the man that bit her at the club. She tries to escape but he captures her. He tells her he's the one that bit her and there to help save her. He explains that he wants her for his mate or he can keep her alive if she doesn't want to be his mate. He takes her home. Good story so far. It's a cliffhanger. You have to read the next one in the series to find out what happens. Going to buy the next one in the series.
