***SPOILER ALERTRecently had a rainstorm and blackout where I live, so this book was very appropriate to read by candlelight. I really enjoyed the pace of this story and the way each chapter jumps straight to the next which gave no desire to put this book down. Once I used that opportunity to start reading, I finished it in two days by staying up way too late in order to get to the end. I loved every minute of the suspense, despite there being a lot of violence against women in it, yet I get that is its main theme after all with the murderer being an demonic rapist/sadist. I do hope that another sequel is in the works.

I absolutely loved reading this book! What an imagination this author has. It's got everything you can imagine in a horror novel. I can't wait to read more of Denise J. Bryson books.

Im not really into the paranormal genre but i decided to give this book a chance because the author is a Detroit native and so am i ( i try to support local authors).
This book actually held my attention and i was interested in seeing how everything would play out. I hope there will be a part 2.
The mind of Al is dark, a few may argue in the beginning that it was justified.. But once in his mind there is nothing to justify his actions..well nothing but pure evil.. As a hopeful romantic I enjoyed the romance that was sprinkled in this demonic tale..
The writer had the task of taking us to the past and back to the present, this was done with ease.. I too feel a sequel is on the horizon, especially with an ending like that!! Suspensful
This is the best horror story that I've read in a long time. It left me paranoid and wanting to sleep with the lights on. If you're a horror fan, don't sleep on this one.

This was written poorly, predictable and horrible grammar issues. Seriously, do better. I started off with one star, but I guess I'll give two since I stuck it out till the end. Which, by the way doesn't make sense.
